Distant course of Russian language for foreign citizens.
     KhAI implements 4 month's distant course of Russian language for foreign citizens. Course will be realized through the Internet (100% distant and on-line), with the help of Skype, and there is no necessity to entry the Ukraine.
     Studies are conducted periodically three times per week in special allocate time.
     The graduators will obtain the Language Certificate of National Aerospace University KHAI.

Wow! KHAI's graduate is in the space!
     Kononenko Oleg Dmitrievich - the graduate of 1988 year of Space-Rocket Engineering Faculty has started on April 8, 2008 as flight engineer of "Souz TMA-12" spaceship and 17th basic ISS expedition together with Sergiy Volkov and Li So Yon!
     On April 10 "Souz TMA-12" spaceship rendezvoused to ISS in automatic mode.
     During the flight Kononenko made two spacewalks:
       2008.07.10 - duration 6 hours 18 minutes.
       2008.07.15 - duration 5 hours 54 minutes.
     July 2008 - Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (China) granted 3 free education quotas for KHAI students/post-graduates in order to obtain Master/Doctor degree. Two 4-year students and one post-graduate of KHAI passed the competition and in the beginning of September leaved for China to study in Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
      March 2007, February 2008 - three students of KHAI obtained Marie Curie's scholarship and leaved for Germany to pass the scientific internship in Fraunhofer Institute.
